01 · Scope
Who this policy covers.
This privacy policy applies to the Gym Tracker iPhone app and the Gym Tracker support and privacy pages on byelias.dev. The responsible developer is Elias Haghverdi, operating as Bonsai Media. Provider and contact details are available in the Impressum.
02 · App data
Information the app handles.
Gym Tracker lets you create and manage workout information such as exercises, workout templates, completed sessions, sets, repetitions, weight, rest settings, perceived-exertion values, notes, and app preferences. Content you choose to import is also processed by the app.
This information is used to provide workout logging, history, progress views, personal records, templates, and the settings you choose. It is not used to build an advertising profile.
03 · Storage and sync
Local first, with optional iCloud sync.
Workout logging is stored on your device so the app can continue to work when a network connection or iCloud is unavailable. If you enable iCloud sync, eligible app data is transmitted to and stored by Apple under the Apple Account signed in on your device.
The developer does not operate a separate account system or remote workout-data server. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.
04 · Analytics, ads, and tracking
No advertising or cross-app tracking.
- Gym Tracker does not include third-party advertising.
- Gym Tracker does not sell workout or personal information.
- Gym Tracker does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
- Gym Tracker does not use third-party analytics SDKs to profile app usage.
05 · AI-assisted imports
The app does not send your plan to an AI provider.
Gym Tracker can provide a prompt or import format for use with a general AI assistant. The app does not automatically transmit workout data to ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI service. If you independently choose to share information with an external service, that service's privacy policy and controls apply.
06 · Support and website use
Information you send deliberately.
If you contact support, the developer receives the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, app and device details, and attachments. It is used to answer the request, diagnose the reported issue, and maintain necessary support records.
When these public pages are visited, the hosting infrastructure may process ordinary technical request information such as an IP address, timestamp, requested page, and browser information to deliver and protect the website. Website request data is not combined with your in-app workout log.
07 · Retention and deletion
You decide how long workout data remains.
On-device and iCloud data remains until you edit or delete it through the app, remove the app and its local data, or manage the app's stored data through iCloud settings. Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain continuity, or meet legal obligations.
Detailed instructions are available on the Privacy Choices page. You can also contact support to request deletion of support correspondence you previously sent.
08 · Changes and contact
If the app changes, this policy changes too.
This policy will be updated if Gym Tracker introduces a new data practice, service provider, or feature that materially changes how information is handled. The revision date at the top identifies the current version.
Questions or privacy requests can be sent through Gym Tracker Support.
